Taylor, Inc. to Continue Technical and Engineering Services
to AIR 4.11

J.F. Taylor, Inc. (JFTI) was recently awarded a five-year
$57.6 million contract to continue providing technical
and engineering services to the Research and Engineering
Department of NAWCAD. JFTI has supported AIR 4.11 and its
predecessor organization since the company’s beginning
in March, 1983.
JFTI’s work focuses on Navigation, Combat Identification,
and Communications Test and Evaluation support, as well as
support for Aircraft Integrated and Laboratory Test and Evaluation.
JFTI engineers provide technical expertise for system concept,
development, implementation, and integration; daily operations
support; hardware and software integration and development;
test preparation and planning, coordination and analysis,
and modifications; along with Commercial Air Support.
“J.F. Taylor is very excited to have the opportunity
to continue providing technical engineering support to the
4.11 Test and Evaluation community,” said John F. Taylor,
Jr., Program Manager. “The flight test role that 4.11
plays in the Navy acquisition process is critical to the
success of new and updated products reaching the fleet, in
addition to support for these efforts.”

This contract was competitively procured and will run through
April, 2007 with work being performed locally. Subcontractors
are ZAI/AMELEX; ARINC; Ausley Associates, Inc.; Booz, Allen & Hamilton,
Inc.; DCS Corporation; System Planning Corporation; Titan
Systems; and Veridian Engineering, Inc.
