J. F. Taylor to Provide Cost Analysis Services to AIR-4.2
November 2004
The Naval Air Systems Command Cost Department (AIR-4.2) has awarded J.F. Taylor, Inc. (JFTI) a $143,000 delivery order to provide cost estimating and analysis support to PMA 213 Air Traffic Control/Landing Program Office's Mode 5 Program.
This one-year service contract includes updating and developing a Life Cycle Cost (LCC) model, supporting Acquisition Decision Reviews and Executive Review Boards, updating the Acquisition Program Baseline Agreement, and providing acquisition and programmatic support to the Mode 5 IPT Lead.
"We are excited about this opportunity to create formally recognized Life Cycle Cost Estimates," says Bill Schaefer, Program Manager. "We have done similar work for other PMAs under other contracts and this contract enables J.F. Taylor to expand the Cost Estimating and Analysis services we provide to NAVAIR."
Work on this contract will be performed in Taylor's offices in Lexington Park and also on-site at PMA 213 in St. Inigoes, MD. The delivery order was awarded under a previously competed contract with Naval Air Systems Command as the contracting activity, and work is expected to extend beyond the one-year contract period.
