Our hardware engineers use Autodesk AutoCAD, PTC Creo, and PTC Windchill development and lifecycle support tools, designing complex solutions and 3D models. We use our state-of-the-art 3D laser scanner and 3D CAD tools to reverse engineer complex parts and components.

• Cable harness identification (indirect marking) using Brady label printers, including continuous insulation sleeving printing. JFTI owns three Brady label printing machines.
• Automatic wire stripping machines with preset program files that provide for quick set-up and change over for the Quick-Disconnect Umbilical differing wires sizes and types.
• Extensive inventory of Daniels Manufacturing crimp dies, positioners, and crimp tools.
• Tools and dies are calibrated per manufacture specifications on a quarterly schedule.
• All electrical technicians have IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620C cable manufacturing training and certifications.

Our 3D printing lab is equipped with production-grade Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and prototype-grade FDM machine with ABS, PC-ABS, ULTEM 9085, Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber, and PEKK/Antero 800 capabilities. JF Taylor is highly experienced in additive manufacturing post-processing techniques for part smoothing and color and finish matching.

In addition to our Cecil Mills Facility (CMF), J.F. Taylor, Inc. maintains a significant presence in the Lexington Park, Maryland area, supporting the NAS Patuxent River community. We currently operate ten facilities locally, including the CMF, our Engineering Facility, Conference Center, and seven buildings within the Pax River Office Park. These facilities total 280,000 square feet, with 112,000 square feet dedicated to high-bay and mezzanine laboratory, manufacturing, and warehouse space. Much of this space supports NAS Patuxent River development programs, including unmanned trainers, manned flight trainers, part-task trainers, and software development initiatives. We are also excited to announce the recent acquisition of Bugeye Technologies—now operating as Bugeye Technologies Powered by JF Taylor. This strategic expansion adds 20,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space in Union, Missouri, further strengthening our national footprint.
